7th District Pioneers, you are Invited! 7th “Pioneer” District will be holding its Fall Conference 2019 on Friday and Saturday, September 13-14, 2019. The conference weekend will be held in Atlantic, Iowa and is hosted by Legion Post Post 43. The event kicks off with a Legion Family social is being held on Friday, September 13th at the American Legion Memorial Building starting at 17:30 and running to 20:00, (address 201 Poplar Street.)
The Executive Committee, District Committee Chairmen are officially called to participate in the Fall Conference, but all Legionnaires are equally welcome.
Conference Purpose: To implement plans for the new American Legion program year and to conduct the business of The American Legion, Department of Iowa, 7th “Pioneer” District. We will meet to plan and discuss programs for the new year. The District Executive staff will lead the meeting to receive reports from the committee chairmen, old and new business will be discussed and any awards will be presented.
Registration at the American Legion Memorial Building: Registration begins at 0800, Saturday, September 14th.
Fall Conference convenes at 0900 with Call to Order, Colors, Invocation, POW/MIA, and reciting the Pledge of Allegiance and Preamble.
