Greetings fellow Pioneers,
Welcome! I would like to thank everyone who attended our Fall Conference on the 13th and 14th of September in Atlantic, Iowa. It was great seeing so many of you there. I would especially like to thank our 7th District Auxiliary President, Rose Schoening for everything she does for our Auxiliary and Legion as a whole. Without her and her team the Conference would not have been the success it was. I would also like to commend Post 43 and Commander Scott Robinson, Don Bowerman and the Honor guard, just like your facilities, you all are incredible, and I am so grateful to you for allowing us to hold our Fall Conference in Atlantic.
As we head into fall we need to keep the press on attaining new members? With the Legion Act as law we have a huge new source of potential members. Currently Iowa is in first place nationally. You all know the saying When it comes to the American Legion, Iowa Leads the Way! And it is certainly true when it comes to membership. I have had the privilege of visiting many of our 7th District Posts and attending 3 County meetings last month. One thing is crystal clear, we have some of the finest members in the State of Iowa and if we work together we can only make your Post, Our District, and Iowa better for all. Please keep charging!
